“ð•€’ð•ž ð”½ð•šð•Ÿð•–!”
“School, yes? No?” Zero asked laying over Scott, who was soundly sleeping, completely missing his alarm.
“Awake? Scott?” Zero blew on Scott’s nose who wrinkled his eyes, before they started to flutter open.
“This is weird Zero.” Scott said looking up at Zero who smiled at him, with warm brown eyes.
“You’re awake now.” Zero stated the obvious as Scott looked at his cheeks with furrowed eyes, Zero had drawn tiny sunflowers on them.
“Are you wearing makeup?” Scott asked reaching out to touch Zero’s cheek softly, Zero smiled at him widely.
“Yes, don’t you like it?” Zero asked as Scott nodded quickly.
“Yeah i love it.” Scott said having Zero his own smile, Zero quickly remembered what he came into the room for.
“You slept through your alarm.” Zero said as Scott eyes widened throwing Zero off of him and onto the floor in his panicked state.
“Shit! Sorry Zero.” Scott quickly apologized as Zero stood up with a careless smile on his face, that showed Scott he wasn’t hurt.
“I’m fine!” Zero chirped wiping the dust off his outfit, which consisted of a yellow hoodie, which had a white collar on it, ripped, and yellow converse.
“Alright i’m gonna get ready now.” Scott said as Zero nodded silently walking out the room, tiny little vines following after him.
“Didn’t notice those.” Scott muttered walking towards his bathroom, so he could shower.

“I don’t see anything.” Derek said looking at the bruise matching bruises on Lydia and Allison’s arm. They were all in a empty classroom, because Allison thought it had something to die with finding two of Dereks lost Beta’s Erica and Boyd.
“Look again.” Scott said he was sure that the bruise on the teenage girls wrist was helpful to finding Boyd and Erica.
“How is a bruise gonna tell me where Boyd and Erica are?” Derek asked as Allison looked at him with an expression between annoyance, offended, pure hate, and then a little bit of sadness, well that was what Zero picked up.
“It’s the same on both sides. Exactly the same.” Scott argued as Zero laid us head on the desk, this was not the high school experience the tiny people promised.
“Seeing patterns that aren’t there. It’s a subset of apophenia.” Lydia said sassily clearly not pleasing Derek.
“They’re trying to help.” Scott whispered as Zero quietly scoffed, Allison literally tried to kill them and they’re still friends.
“These two. This one, who used me to resurrect my psychotic uncle. Thank you. And this one, Who shot about 30 arrows
into me and my pack.” Derek pointed out less then happy to be in the presence of the two girls.
“Okay, all right, now, come on. No one died, all right? Look, there may have been a little maiming, okay, a little
mangling, but no death. That’s what I call an important distinction.” Stiles said as Scott nodded his head, Zero didn’t agree with that.
“My mother died.” Allison said with squinted eyes directed at Derek, Zero lifted his head up, he thought Allison’s mother killed herself.
“Your family’s little honor code killed your mother. Not me.” Derek said as Zero straightened his back this was kinda interesting.
“That girl was looking for Scott. I’m here to help him, not you.” Allison said and Zero briefly wondering if that was supposed to make Derek upset.
“You wanna help? Find something real.” Derek said going to the door Scott quickly following after him.

“Okay, what would a pack of alphas want with Erica and Boyd?” Stiles asked as Zero trailed along behind them, splashing puddles that came in his way, it was fun.
“I’m not sure it’s them they want.” Scott said
“Okay, what, like Derek? Like they’re recruiting?” Stiles asked as Scott got distracted by the new twins walking by, Scott knew they weren’t human. Zero rose an eyebrow as he made eye contact with one of the twins, but quickly looked away when the other one glared at him.
“Hey, Scott. You coming?” Stiles asked as he sent Scott a confused look. Zero stopped walking next to Stiles who sent him a small smile as they continued walking.

“The stock market is based on two principles. What are they?” Coach asked the class. Zero found out he was a very sarcastic person and even though he taught economics every called him coach, because of his job as the lacrosse coach.
“Yes, McCall, you can go to the bathroom. Anybody else?” Coach quickly moved on from Scott who gave him an offended look.
“Uh, no, coach, I know the answer.” Zero watched with a small smile on his face as Coach started to laugh.
“Oh, you’re serious.” Coach said confused as Scott looked at him awkwardly.
“Yes. Risk and reward.” Scott said and Coach instantly looked proud.
“Wow! Who are you? And what have you done to McCall? Don’t answer that. I like you better. I like you better.Does anybody have a quarter? A quarter.” Coach talked quickly as Stiles dug in his pocket.
“Yep.” Stiles called out, but something flew out of his pocket landing on the floor, Zero rose an eyebrow out the package that read ‘XXL condom’ everyone stared at it.
“Stilinski, I think you, uh… You dropped this. And congratulations.” There was scattered laughter around the room as Scott silently made fun of his best friend, Zero wish he knew what was funny, then maybe he could’ve laughed also.
“Risk and reward. Put the quarter in the mug, Win the reward. Okay, watch coach.” Coach bent down and threw a quarter into into cup, that he placed on the floor. Everyone applauded his as Zero started scribbling on a notebook he stole from Scott.
“That’s how you do it.” Coach said in victory as Zero tuned out his conversation that he started with one of the students Danny, Zero didn’t know much about him, but he knew that he liked to date boys.
“McCall. Risk, reward. The risk: If you don’t put that quarter in the mug, You have to take the pop…the… the quiz. And… and you have to write an essay. Risk, more work. Reward…No work at all. Or choose not to play.” Coach talked catching Zeros attention as soon as he heard Scott’s last name, which Zero didn’t see the purpose to, wouldn’t they run out of last names if everybody had two, some people even had three, which was crazy to Zero.
“But isn’t this just chance?” Scott asked picking up the quarter in his hand, and fiddling with it a couple times.
“No. You know your abilities, your coordination, your focus, Past experience… all factors affecting the outcome. So what’s it gonna be, McCall? More work, no work, or choose not to play?” Scott stared at coin for a few moments before setting it down and sliding it over to Coach.
“No play. Okay. Who’s next? Who wants the quarter?” Coach asked and nobody volunteered, so Stiles drummed his fingers on the desk signaling he wanted to go.
“There ya go! There’s a gamblin’ man! Come on! Step up, step up. All right, stilinski.” Coach said as Stiles did weird walk to the front.
“Stiles.” Zero looked up at the voice of the sherif with a confused face clearly Stiles didn’t recognize the voice though.
“Yeah, Coach, I got it.” Stiles said Stiles getting ready to put the coin into the cup.
“Stiles.” Stiles finally looked up and was confused as to why his father was there. Zero had a feeling whatever was happening outside the door was bad.
